The Department of Career and Legal Studies Development at DEMA Justicia, in collaboration with Hukumonline, hosted an online workshop titled “Career Canvas: Brushing Up Your Professional Palette” on Saturday (18/05/2024). This event aimed to enhance the knowledge of students across Indonesia regarding the writing of effective resumes.
A CV is a crucial document that reflects an individual’s personal identity, career history, and both academic and non-academic achievements. As the need for CVs continues to grow across various activities—from recruiting organization members to applying for jobs—the ability to write a CV has become an urgent necessity for students and the general public.
The workshop featured Gisela Puspita Jamil, a Human Resources Business Partner at Hukumonline, as the speaker. During the session, Gisela discussed in detail how to write a good CV, key steps when applying for a job, and various do’s and don’ts in the application process. The material presented is expected to provide participants with useful knowledge and skills to face challenges in the professional world.
This event serves as a valuable platform for students to deepen their understanding of the recruitment process and how to present themselves professionally through their resumes. As a result, it is hoped that participants will be better prepared to enter the workforce after completing their studies.
