The Legal Aid and Consultation Center (PKBH) is a unit within the Faculty of Law, UGM, that carries out community service activities as part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. These activities include legal consultation and assistance, Special Education for the Advocate Profession (PKPA), and legal outreach programs.
Divisions of the UGM Legal Aid and Consultation Center (PKBH)
- Legal Consultation and Assistance Division
A division focused on receiving cases from the public, providing legal consultation services, legal opinions, mediation, and offering pro bono legal assistance to the entire UGM academic community and underprivileged members of the public. - Special Education for the Advocate Profession Division
A division focused on enhancing the skills of competent and ethical prospective advocates through the implementation of the Special Education for the Advocate Profession (PKPA) program, featuring experienced instructors from both academic and professional backgrounds with high-quality and comprehensive course materials, as well as focusing on the administration of the Advocate Profession Examination (UPA). - Legal Outreach Division
A division aimed at providing understanding, education, guidance, and enhancing public legal awareness through legal outreach programs conducted extensively across the Special Region of Yogyakarta and throughout Indonesia in collaboration with various partner institutions.
