South Jakarta, 5 July 2026 – The Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM), through the Natural Resources Governance Studies (NRGS), in collaboration with PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Corporate University, continued the implementation of the Pertamina Mini Master of Laws Program 2026, entering its sixth week of instruction. The program was held on Saturday and Sunday, 4–5 July 2026, at the UGM Master of Laws (MIH) Jakarta Campus.
The learning sessions on Saturday, 4 July 2026, commenced with Pre-Test 3, which was administered to all participants to assess their baseline understanding before the delivery of the week's instructional materials. Following the pre-test, participants attended a session on Corporate Organization Law, covering legal compliance, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and corporate liability for losses. The session was delivered by Prof. Ir. Adi Djoko Guritno, M.S.I.E., Ph.D., Professor of Industrial Systems Management at Universitas Gadjah Mada and a member of the Risk Management Committee of PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk.
On the same day, participants also attended a session on Commercial Contracts, which discussed the types and application of commercial and non-commercial contracts, followed by techniques for drafting commercial agreements. The session was delivered by Muhtar Ali, S.H., LL.M., MCIArb., Founding Partner of Muhtar Halim & Partners Law Office. Through this session, participants gained practical insights into contract drafting relevant to business operations and corporate activities.
The program continued on Sunday, 5 July 2026, with a session on Public Finance Law, focusing on state capital participation in State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) from both legal and practical perspectives, as well as foreign investment and international financing involving SOEs. The session was delivered by Dr. Hendry Julian Noor, S.H., M.Kn., a lecturer in Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
The final session of the week covered Capital Market Law, discussing the roles of issuers, investors, market facility providers, regulators, and supporting professionals in the capital market, including notaries, accountants, legal consultants, and appraisers. The session was delivered by Ferry Rajagukguk, S.H., LL.M., Partner at FKNK Law Firm. Through this session, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of capital market mechanisms and the roles of the various stakeholders involved.
The implementation of the Pertamina Mini Master of Laws Program 2026 is aligned with the commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), by providing continuing education that strengthens professional competencies in corporate law, corporate governance, public finance, and capital market law. The program’s emphasis on Good Corporate Governance (GCG), legal compliance, and corporate accountability also supports SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by promoting transparent, accountable, and integrity-based institutional governance. Furthermore, the collaboration among the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, PT Pertamina (Persero), legal practitioners, and academics in delivering this program reflects the implementation of SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strategic partnerships between higher education institutions and industry to enhance human capital and support sustainable development.
