The Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM), welcomed a benchmarking visit from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Tarumanagara (FH UNTAR), on Friday, 3 July 2026. Held at Building B of the Faculty of Law UGM, the visit served as a forum for exchanging experiences and discussing the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, quality assurance, study program management, and institutional development within law faculties.
Through this benchmarking activity, both institutions sought to strengthen their academic partnership while sharing strategies to enhance the quality of legal education. The discussions and exchange of best practices are expected to contribute to improvements in institutional governance, teaching and learning innovation, and the quality of academic services within their respective law faculties.
This benchmarking activity also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening the quality of higher education and enhancing institutional capacity. Furthermore, the collaboration between FH UGM and FH UNTAR reflects the spirit of SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through the development of inter-institutional partnerships aimed at advancing the sustainable improvement of legal education.
