UGM Faculty of Law Lecturer Officially Inaugurated as Notary Regional Supervisory Board for the 2024-2027 Period

Lecturers from the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), namely Dr. Jur. Any Andjarwati, S.H., M.Jur. and Dr. Dra. Dani Krisnawati, S.H., M.Hum., were officially inaugurated as the Notary Regional Supervisory Board (MPWN) for the 2024-2027 period. The inauguration was conducted by Cahyo Rahadian Muzhar, S.H., LL.M., Director General of General Legal Administration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, on Wednesday (September 18, 2024). The inauguration took place in the Ballroom of the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Bali and was attended by all Regional Offices of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

The event began with the reading of the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia concerning the Notary Regional Supervisory Board (MPWN) for the 2024-2027 Period and the Interim Replacement (PAW) for the Regional Honorary Board for the 2022-2024 Period, which served as the legal basis for the inauguration. The elected members then took their oath of office before the Director General of General Legal Administration. The event then continued with the signing of the Oath of Office Minutes and concluded with remarks and a message from the Director General of General Legal Administration.

With the inauguration of the MPWN for the 2024-2027 period, it is hoped that the members will strengthen solidarity in their respective regions, maintain the good reputation of the notary profession, and strengthen cooperation with the government and academia. This aligns with Point 8 of the SDGs, namely Decent Work and Economic Growth, which aims to support more equitable and sustainable economic development in Indonesia.
