The Master of Notarial Law Program at the UGM Faculty of Law held a workshop titled “Writing Research Proposals, Mass Media Opinion Pieces, and Articles for ISSN-Indexed Proceedings” from Wednesday to Friday, March 6–8, 2024. Held in Room 3.1.2 of the UGM Faculty of Law, the workshop was attended by 130 students enrolled in the Legal Research Methods course.
The workshop featured Dr. Destri Budi Nugraheni, S.H., M.S.I. and Anggita Mustika Dewi, S.H., M.Kn. as speakers, both of whom teach the Legal Research Methods course. The program aimed to encourage student publications and support the student research and publication initiatives organized by the Research and Publication Unit of the UGM Faculty of Law. During the workshop, the speakers discussed how to identify research topics, formulate research problems, and navigate common challenges in legal research. They also shared practical tips for writing mass media opinion pieces, articles for ISSN-indexed proceedings, and research proposals for the Student Research Grant program. Students participated enthusiastically throughout the sessions, actively engaging in discussions and raising questions during the workshop.
This workshop ini merupakan bentuk komitmen Pengelola dan mahasiswa Program Studi Magister Kenotariatan Fakultas Hukum UGM dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang merupakan poin 4 dalam Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) melalui menyebarluasan gagasan melalui opini media massa, artikel pada prosiding ber-ISSN, atau proposal penelitian untuk Hibah Penelitian Mahasiswa.
