Health Promotion University Faculty of Law UGM Supporting Welfare and Good Health

In order supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Health Promotion University Faculty of Law UGM provided several physical activities programs. This event is related with the SDGs 3rd point of SDGs on the Good Health and Well Being. There were several physical activities that can be choose by the lecturer and staffs. Those activities are Yoga class every Tuesday and Friday, Line Dance every Wednesday, Gymnastic Class every Friday, and other activities that held on Wellness Center every Friday.

Wellness Center hat located in 1st floor in Building 4 Faculty of Law UGM has been equipped with sports facilities such as Yoga Room, Gym Room, and Table Tennis Room that can be utilized optimally. These programs and facilities are expected to encourage a healthy and prosperous lifestyle and facilitate the achievement of work-life balance for the entire academic community.

UGM Faculty of Law Delegation Wins 1st Place in English Debate at Euphoria Edu 4.0, Highlighting Mental Health Issues from an SDGs Perspective

The delegation from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM), has once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment at the national level by securing 1st place in the English Debate category at Euphoria Edu 4.0, organized by the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health Surakarta (Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta). The competition was conducted online via Zoom Meeting and reached its final round on Sunday (19 April 2026), with the winners announced on Friday (24 April 2026).

Strengthening Substantive Justice: KMHLi UGM Discussion on Justifications and Excuses in the National Criminal Code

The Litigation Law Master’s Family (KMHLi) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, held a public discussion on the conceptualization of justifications (alasan pembenar) and excuses (alasan pemaaf) in the National Criminal Code, titled “Justifications and Excuses: Whose Reasons?” on Thursday (30/4) at the Auditorium of Building B, Faculty of Law UGM. The event brought together academics and legal practitioners to examine Articles 31 to 44 of Law No. 1 of 2023 on the National Criminal Code before approximately 100 participants.

UGM Faculty of Law Delegation Wins 2nd Place Nationally at the Sam Ratulangi Legal Writing Competition 2026

The Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM), has once again achieved a notable accomplishment through its delegation—Salsabila Zita Amalia (2023), Cut Kayla Layyina (2023), and Fayyaza Naira Hafidz (2023)—who secured 2nd place at the Sam Ratulangi Law Writing Competition 2026, organized by the Legal Writing Center, Faculty of Law, Sam Ratulangi University. This national-level Legal Opinion competition carried the main theme “Legal Modernization in Addressing the Challenges of Digital Technology Towards an Inclusive and Adaptive Legal Ecosystem.”
