This collaboration marks a concrete implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Faculty of Law UGM and the Government of Anambas Regency, as part of the university's commitment to fulfilling the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the area of community service. Through this program, the Faculty of Law UGM will deploy two teams: a student team from MHKes and a PKBH team who will engage in various activities including free medical services, health equipment donation, legal and health counseling, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with relevant stakeholders in the fields of law and health.
The program will take place in two terms: Term I: April 28 – May 2, 2025, at Letung Port, Jemaja Island, led by the MHKes team. Term II: May 19 – 23, 2025, at Tarempa Port, Siantan Island, led by the PKBH team. This coordination meeting ran smoothly, fostering a strong synergy between the Faculty of Law UGM, doctorSHARE, and the Anambas Health Office. The collaboration is expected to deliver meaningful and sustainable impact, especially in providing inclusive health and legal access for communities in Indonesia’s remote, frontier, and underdeveloped regions.
