UGM Collaborates with doctorSHARE and Anambas Health Office: Community Service Program through Dr. Lie Dharmawan II Floating Hospital

This activity reflects the implementation of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), Goal 4 (Quality and Inclusive Education), Goal 16 (Strong Institutions and Access to Justice), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The meeting was attended by representatives from the Faculty of Law UGM, including Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems, Dr. Airin Liemanto, S.H., LL.M., PKBH Secretary II, as well as part-time staff from PKBH. Representatives from MHKes, doctorSHARE, and the Anambas Health Office were also present.

This collaboration marks a concrete implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Faculty of Law UGM and the Government of Anambas Regency, as part of the university's commitment to fulfilling the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the area of community service. Through this program, the Faculty of Law UGM will deploy two teams: a student team from MHKes and a PKBH team who will engage in various activities including free medical services, health equipment donation, legal and health counseling, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with relevant stakeholders in the fields of law and health.

The program will take place in two terms: Term I: April 28 – May 2, 2025, at Letung Port, Jemaja Island, led by the MHKes team. Term II: May 19 – 23, 2025, at Tarempa Port, Siantan Island, led by the PKBH team. Termin I berlangsung pada 28 April – 2 Mei 2025 di Pelabuhan Letung, Pulau Jemaja The program will take place in two terms: Term I: April 28 – May 2, 2025, at Letung Port, Jemaja Island, led by the MHKes team. Term II: May 19 – 23, 2025, at Tarempa Port, Siantan Island, led by the PKBH team. ermin II berlangsung pada 19 – 23 Mei 2025 di Pelabuhan Pemda Tarempa, Pulau Siantan oleh tim PKBH.

This coordination meeting ran smoothly, fostering a strong synergy between the Faculty of Law UGM, doctorSHARE, and the Anambas Health Office. The collaboration is expected to deliver meaningful and sustainable impact, especially in providing inclusive health and legal access for communities in Indonesia’s remote, frontier, and underdeveloped regions.
