The Faculty of Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), through the Center for Natural Resources Governance Studies (NRGS), in collaboration with PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Corporate University, has concluded the sixth week of the Pertamina 2025 Mini Master of Law Program. The learning sessions were held on Saturday and Sunday, July 19–20, 2025, at the UGM Jakarta Law School Campus.
This week, around 60 participants ranging from managerial-level employees to company executives engaged in intensive sessions focusing on public finance law, commercial contracts, corporate governance, and capital market law. The curriculum was designed to equip participants with comprehensive insights into the legal complexities faced by corporations in the energy and strategic industry sectors.

Saturday’s session began with a Pre-Test 3 for participants, aimed at assessing their initial understanding of the material before receiving instruction from the resource lecturers. Following the Pre-Test, the session continued with State Capital Participation in SOEs and Foreign Investment and International Financing in SOEs, delivered by Dr. Dinoroy Marganda Aritonang, S.H., M.H. from STIA LAN Bandung. These were followed by sessions on Commercial and Non-Commercial Contracts and Drafting Techniques for Commercial Contracts, led by Muhtar Ali, S.H., LL.M., MCIArb., Founding Partner of Muhtar Halim & Partners Law Office.
On Sunday, the program explored Legal Compliance and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and Corporate Liability for Losses, presented by Prof. Ir. Adi Djoko Guritno, MSIE, Ph.D., Professor at UGM and a member of the Risk Management Committee of PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk. The day concluded with discussions on Capital Market Law, facilitated by Ferry Rajagukguk, S.H., LL.M., Partner at FKNK Law Firm, covering the roles of issuers, investors, regulators, and supporting professions such as notaries and legal consultants.

The implementation of the Mini Master of Law Program is a concrete manifestation of the shared commitment between the academic and industrial worlds in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education, SDG 16 on Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals. Through this synergy, the Faculty of Law at UGM and PT Pertamina (Persero) actively contribute to strengthening adaptive, professional, and sustainable corporate legal governance while strengthening strategic institutional partnerships amid evolving global legal challenges.
