FH UGM's Master of Notarial Law program held a seminar as part of "The 1st Universitas Gadjah Mada Notary Law Conference and Call for Papers 2022," on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, via Zoom.

The presentations were organized around four main topics: the digitalization of mortgage rights and how it serves the underlying purpose of mortgage rights; a critical review of the Mortgage Rights Law alongside Ministerial Regulation No. 5/2020; the implementation of electronic mortgage rights registration within the National Land Agency's (BPN) partner system, with particular attention to individual creditors versus corporate/legal-entity creditors; and the practical challenges of implementing electronic mortgage rights services from the perspective of land deed officials (PPAT). The seminar also created space for interactive discussion between the speakers and attendees on mortgage rights issues.
