Pertamina Mini Master of Laws Program (MMHP) 2026 Enters Its 11th Week, Discusses Capital Markets to Bankruptcy

South Jakarta, The Pertamina Mini Master of Laws Program (MMHP) 2026 continues. This week, the program entered its 11th week of learning. The activity was held at the UGM Master of Laws (MIH) Jakarta Campus on Saturday and Sunday, 12–13 September 2026. This program is the result of cooperation between the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, through the Natural Resources Governance Studies (NRGS) Center and PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Corporate University.

On Saturday (12/9/2026), the session opened with Capital Market Law material. Participants studied the trading process and relationships between parties in the capital market. The discussion continued to aspects of information disclosure in public offerings. This material was delivered by Dr. Sarmauli Yuris Christi Simangunsong, S.H., LL.M., a Partner at Nindyo & Associates

The next session discussed Transnational Business Law. Participants were invited to review international business agreements. In addition, participants also practiced drafting international business agreements directly. This material was delivered by Alfatika Aunuriella Dini, S.H., M.Kn., Ph.D., a Lecturer in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Entering Sunday (13/9/2026), material on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution opened the session. The discussion focused on investment arbitration and commercial arbitration. This material was delivered by Dr. Didik Sasono Setyadi, S.H., M.H., a Supervisory Board member of the Energy Dispute Arbitration Body (BASE) and former Chief Legal Counsel of SKK Migas.

The final session raised material on Bankruptcy Law and Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU). Participants analyzed a number of bankruptcy cases. An explanation of the PKPU mechanism was also provided in this session. This material was delivered by Nien Rafles Siregar, S.H., M.H., a Partner at Siregar Setiawan Manalu Partnership.

The series of learning activities in the eleventh week closed with the administration of Post-Test 5. This test aims to measure participants' understanding of all the material delivered over the two days of activities.

This program also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education through strengthening participants' competencies in understanding and applying various aspects of business law, capital markets, transnational transactions, arbitration, and bankruptcy and PKPU. The activity is also relevant to SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth through developing professional capacity in the legal field that supports business activities, investment, and dispute resolution in a more structured and sustainable manner. In addition, strengthening understanding of information disclosure, transaction governance, and arbitration and dispute resolution mechanisms contributes to SDG 16 on Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. Through learning that combines conceptual and practical aspects, MMHP 2026 encourages the development of human resources with legal competencies to respond to the dynamics of the business world and the need for good governance.
