The Notary Masters Study Program, Faculty of Law, UGM held a Call for Paper Presentation on Tuesday (07/05/2024). This activity is a series of the 2nd Universitas Gdjah Mada Notary Law (UGMNL) Conference and Call for Paper 2024. This series began with the acceptance of the Call for Paper 2024 manuscripts on March 19, 2024 to April 16, 2024. A total of 41 manuscripts were received, while 23 manuscripts were accepted for presentation
This presentation activity is part of the dissemination of the results of student research that has been carried out and stated in the 2024 Call for Paper manuscript. Participants who receive confirmation of acceptance of the manuscript are required to attend to make a presentation. The organizers facilitate participants to make presentations offline in several classrooms of the UGM Faculty of Law or online via Zoom Meeting. The presenters in this activity, in addition to students of the Notary Masters Study Program of the UGM Faculty of Law, also include students of the Notary Masters Study Program from other universities such as Diponegoro University, Sebelas Maret University, and Jenderal Soedirman University.
Before the activity began, participants first registered. After all participants were present and registered, the moderator from each room explained the rules for implementing the presentation. Then, when all the information from the moderator was delivered, the presentation and question and answer session began. The presentation was carried out by each team according to the order that had been previously informed. Each team was given 15 minutes with a presentation time of 7 minutes and a question and answer time of 8 minutes. In this question and answer session, the moderator opened the opportunity for the audience, consisting of other teams that were not presenting and students of the Notary Masters Study Program, Faculty of Law, UGM in each room, to ask questions. The activity was closed by the moderator in each room after all teams had finished their presentations.
The Call for Paper Presentation activity as part of a series of activities of the 2nd Universitas Gdjah Mada Notary Law (UGMNL) Conference and Call for Paper is a form of commitment of the Management and students of the Notary Masters Study Program, Faculty of Law, UGM in improving the quality of education which is the fourth point in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by increasing the insight of participants and audiences regarding research results on legal issues in the notary field raised in each manuscript of the 2024 Call for Paper presented.
