Strengthening Collaboration For The 2026 Legal Outreach Grant Program, UGM Faculty Of Law Renews Partnership With TVRI

On Wednesday, 10 December 2025, the Faculty of Law of Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) met with TVRI Yogyakarta to reinforce the formulation of the direction and strategic mapping for the 2026 legal outreach program. This collaboration aims to enhance FH UGM’s contribution to community service, which is facilitated through the Legal Consultation and Aid Center (PKBH) FH UGM. The meeting, held at 13:00 WIB, was attended by Prof. Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A., Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems of FH UGM, alongside PKBH colleagues and representatives of TVRI Yogyakarta led by Akhbar Sahidi, S.Sos, Head of TVRI Yogyakarta Station, and his team.

Both TVRI Yogyakarta and FH UGM reaffirmed their commitment to renewing their Cooperation Agreement for 2026. The collaboration includes the continuation of the “Pro Justicia” broadcast program, a digital legal outreach initiative that materializes FH UGM’s dedication to serving the community. The technical implementation of the 2026 program will follow the model established in 2025, with two regular monthly broadcasts airing on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, complemented by live streaming via the TVRI Yogyakarta YouTube channel. A key update for 2026 is the introduction of a new overarching theme: the embodiment of the Eight Asta Cita, which serves as a central mission toward realizing Indonesia Emas 2045. Through these program enhancements, both institutions agreed to collaborate closely in delivering relevant, factual, and accessible legal insights through digital platforms.

“We are highly enthusiastic about continuing this partnership to support the legal outreach program in 2026,” stated Akhbar Sahidi, S.Sos.

As a result of this strong collaboration, FH UGM received the highest appreciation from TVRI Yogyakarta for the successful implementation of “Pro Justicia” in 2025, a program that successfully attracted significant public interest and generated positive impact, particularly for communities across the Special Region of Yogyakarta. TVRI Yogyakarta also expressed its commitment to continuing its support for FH UGM through concrete contributions in the future.

The collaboration between FH UGM and TVRI through the “Pro Justicia” broadcast program aligns with the pursuit of several points within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It supports SDG 4, which emphasizes expanding public access to education—including legal education that is increasingly accessible and easier to understand. The initiative also contributes to SDG 16 through efforts to strengthen peace, justice, and inclusive institutions that deliver tangible benefits to society. Furthermore, this partnership advances SDG 17 by reinforcing strategic cooperation aimed at achieving superior and sustainable outcomes in the years ahead.
