The Legal Aid Consultation Center of the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University (PKBH FHUGM) is pleased to announce the 2023 External Legal Education Grant Program (HPHE) on Saturday (November 16, 2023). This program will be led by Dr. Herlambang P. Wiratraman, S.H., M.A., a lecturer at the UGM Faculty of Law. The program’s primary focus is to provide an in-depth understanding of “National Strategic Projects and Land Acquisition for Public Interest in the Yogyakarta-Solo Toll Road Project: Ensuring the Fulfillment of Landowners’ Rights.”
The Jogja-Solo Toll Road Project, as a national strategic project, has a significant impact on surrounding landowners. During the HPHE 2023 program, Dr. Herlambang P. Wiratraman shared his legal insights on how to ensure the fulfillment of landowners’ rights in the context of this project. This event is expected to provide a better understanding of the legal aspects related to land acquisition for public interest.
This program supports Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by empowering communities in the formulation of regulations and improving legal literacy. Through a holistic approach, the program encourages collaboration between the community and local authorities to create practical regulations that reflect the community’s needs. Thus, HPHE is expected to create a sustainable positive impact, promoting security, order, and legal awareness at the village level.
