Patalan, June 19, 2023 -- On the same day as the Datun Suluh Praja Legal Outreach session in Tanjungharjo, Patalan Village also hosted a legal outreach session focused on village cash financial management. The session, attended by village officials and local residents, aimed to improve understanding of effective village cash financial management in accordance with state administrative law.
The session opened with the singing of Indonesia Raya, followed by remarks from the Head of Patalan Village, and then by remarks from a representative of the resource persons and a representative from Kejati DIY.
The session continued with a presentation from the resource person. The main resource person for this session was Dwi Haryati, S.H., M.H., an expert in state administrative law. She delivered an in-depth presentation on the legal aspects relating to village cash financial management. The material covered regulations relating to the management, oversight, and reporting of village cash finances, as well as the issue of village cash financial irregularities.
Following the presentation, a Q&A session was held, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions directly to the resource person. This was intended to clarify any uncertainties and to deepen participants' understanding of village cash financial management.
The session closed with a closing segment and a group photo with the resource person and representatives from Kejati DIY. This legal outreach session is hoped to bring significant benefit in improving the understanding and awareness of village officials and the wider community regarding sound village cash financial management in line with applicable regulations.
The Patalan Village Government hopes this session will encourage transparency, accountability, and efficiency in village cash financial management. With a stronger understanding of state administrative law, it is hoped that village officials and the community will be better equipped to manage village cash finances, minimize the risk of fund misuse, and improve the welfare of local residents.
