Tanjungharjo, June 19, 2023 -- Following visits to four villages in the first week of the second round of the 2023 Datun Suluh Praja Legal Outreach series, this round of activity was held at Tanjungharjo Village. This edition's theme was "Village Financial Management in Accordance with Village Regulations."
Held in the village hall, the session featured legal experts Dr. Andi Sandi Antonius T.T., S.H., LL.M., an expert in constitutional law, and Dr. Hariyanto, S.H., M.Kn., an expert in business law. Their presence was hoped to provide participants with deep insight and knowledge.
The session opened with the singing of Indonesia Raya, followed by a series of welcoming remarks. The main resource person, Dr. Hariyanto, S.H., M.Kn., then provided an explanation of regional financial management based on professional village regulations. The legal basis for this lies in the Village Law, which sets out rights and obligations generally covering sources of village income. Dr. Andi Sandi Antonius T.T., S.H., LL.M., then presented on the drafting of village-level regulations that can further govern village financial sources. Enacting regulations at the village level is important to provide legitimacy for implementing the directives of higher-level legislation.
Following the presentation, a Q&A session was held, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions directly to the resource persons. This was intended to deepen participants' understanding and clarify any remaining uncertainties about village financial management.
The session closed with a closing segment and a group photo with the resource persons and representatives from the High Prosecutor's Office. It is hoped that, through this session, the community and village officials of Tanjungharjo will gain a stronger understanding and awareness of the importance of village financial management in accordance with applicable regulations.
The Tanjungharjo Village Government hopes this legal outreach session will have a positive impact on village financial management in the area. With a stronger understanding of village regulations, transparency and accountability in village financial management are hoped to be realized.
