On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, FH UGM's Center for Intellectual Property, Competition, and Dispute Settlement Mechanism Studies (CICODS) held a legal outreach session on the topic of legal protection for grape farmers. In attendance were FH UGM's Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems, Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A., along with several CICODS faculty members: Herliana, S.H., M.ComLaw., Ph.D. (Chair of CICODS), Prof. M. Hawin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., Irna Nurhayati, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M., Ph.D., and Dr. Veri Antoni, S.H., M.Hum. (CICODS board members). The webinar also drew representatives from grape farming communities across Indonesia.
During the session, the speakers gave a comprehensive overview of the legal status of grape farming in Indonesia and the intellectual property aspects involved.
