Pendidikan Khusus Profesi Advokat (PKPA) (Special Training for Advocates) XIV officially ended on Saturday, (1/3/2025). Previously, PKPA XIV had been conducted hybrid since Monday, (17/2/2025) that located in Building III Faculty of Law UGM (FH UGM) with involving 30 educators. This closing ceremony was conducted right after the class had ended. This also marked the collaboration between FH UGM and Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia Rumah Bersama Advokat (PERADI RBA) (Indonesian Advocate Association) had ended.
The closing ceremony was attended by the representatives of FH UGM, Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems, Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A, Chair of the PKPA XIV Committee, Annisa Syaufika Y. R. S.H., M.H, Secretary II of PKBH FH UGM, Airin Liemanto as well as committees from PKBH. PERADI RBA presented Fajar Mulia as a Member of the Supervisory Commission (Komwas) DPN PERADI, also Wijaya Kusuma, S.H., M.Hum. as Chair of the Branch Leadership Council of PERADI RBA Bantul Regency.
After the speech from the representative of both FH UGM and PERADI has ended, the participants also delivered their testimonies for this event from both offline and online participants. It was said that the implementation of PKPA XIV had been carried out well and the lecturers had provided a lot of knowledge including practical skills in the field of law in Indonesia.
The implementation of PKPA XIV is considered a manifestation of support for fulfilling Indonesia's commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly point 4, namely Quality Education, and point 8, namely Decent Work and Economic Growth. It is hoped that these benefits will be realized immediately after the participants complete the lectures and pass the Advocate Professional Examination (UPA), enabling them to ultimately become advocates with high integrity.
Penyelenggaraan PKPA XIV dinilai termasuk dalam salah satu perwujudan dukungan pemenuhan komitmen Indonesia dalam program Suistanable Development Goals (SDGs), terutama pada point 4, yaitu Pendidikan Bermutu dan point 8, yaitu Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi. Diharapkan hal tersebut dapat termanifestasikan tepat setelah para peserta menyelesaikan sesi perkuliahan juga lulus ujian Ujian Profesi Advokat (UPA) sehingga pada akhirnya dapat menjadi advokat yang memiliki integritas tinggi.
