The 17th Cohort of the Specialized Professional Training Program for Attorneys, a Collaboration Between the UGM Faculty of Law and PERADI RBA, Has Officially Concluded

The 17th cohort of the Specialized Professional Training Program for Attorneys (PKPA) for the year 2025 officially concluded on Saturday (November 22, 2025). The event was held in a hybrid format in Room 3.1.2 of the Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (FH UGM). The closing ceremony for the PKPA XVII program—a collaboration between FH UGM and the Indonesian Advocates Association: Advocates’ Common Home (PERADI RBA)—has concluded.

The closing ceremony for this course was attended by representatives from the UGM Faculty of Law as well as representatives from PERADI RBA. Representing FH UGM were the Head of the Center for Legal Consultation and Assistance (PKBH) at FH UGM, Dr. Dra. Dani Krisnawati, S.H., M.Hum., and the Chair of the PKPA XVII Organizing Committee, Dr. Airin Liemanto, S.H., LL.M., along with committee members from PKBH. Furthermore, PERADI RBA was represented by Fajar Mulia, S.H., a member of the Supervisory Commission of the National Executive Board of the Indonesian Advocates Association; Jimmy Stevanus Mboe, S.H., a member of the Regional Honorary Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association; and Wijaya Kusuma, S.H., as Chair of the Bantul Branch of the Indonesian Advocates Association, as well as committee members from PERADI RBA.

After singing the national anthem “Indonesia Raya” and the Gadjah Mada Hymn, representatives of the 17th PKPA participants—Tiffany Pryanka Andini, S.H., via online, and Ahmad Tsaqief Ghiffari, S.H., in person—shared their testimonials and reflections on their experience participating in the PKPA program, which has provided significant benefits to all participants through both the theoretical material and practical training delivered by instructors, tailored to equip them to become attorneys of integrity. The next session featured the Final Report from the Chair of the PKPA XVII Organizing Committee, who announced that all participants had successfully completed the program. This was followed by remarks from the Supervisory Commission of the PERADI National Executive Board, and the PKPA program was officially closed by the Chair of the Center for Legal Consultation and Assistance at the UGM Faculty of Law. All in-person participants were also given PKPA XVII merchandise, and their PKPA certificates will be mailed to them as proof that they have successfully completed the 17th Cohort of the Specialized Professional Training for Attorneys, a collaboration between the UGM Faculty of Law and PERADI RBA.

The implementation of the Specialized Professional Education Program for Attorneys (PKPA), 17th Cohort, is one of the ways Indonesia demonstrates its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4—Quality Education—and Goal 8—Decent Work and Economic Growth. It is hoped that the success of this PKPA program will be evident once the participants have successfully completed their coursework and passed the Attorney Professional Examination (UPA), enabling them to become attorneys of integrity in Indonesia.
