Monday (19/08/2024), Master of Business and Constitutional Law (MHBK) Faculty of Law UGM held a freshmen orientation for batch 2024. This event was held with the intention of introducing the freshmen students to their new academic environment and the lecture system in MHBK Faculty of Law UGM, also marked the first day of the new academic year.
This orientation consisted of two main sessions that started by the introduction of the MHBK Faculty of Law UGM. The head of Master of Business and Constitutional Law Program, Irna Nurhayati, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M., Ph.D., led this session with presented a comprehensive presentation regarding the curriculum of MHBK Program. After that, the second session focused on the introduction to the academic information system.
The freshmen students were given a guide on accessing and using the Simaster platform to support their academic activities. The utilization of the technology itself is aligned with the 9th goal of SDGs in Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, especially in the context of improving the access for the information technology and communication.
This orientation also reflecting the MHBK’s commitment in implementing SDGs, especially with the 4th goal on Qualified Education and 8th goal on Decent Works and Economic Growth.
By organizing this orientation, MHBK Program Faculty of Law UGM has shown their commitment in improving the education quality and producing competent graduates in business and constitutional law field. This orientation became an important initiate step for the students in starting their academic journey.
