The Notarial Studies Master’s Program at the UGM Faculty of Law has successfully held the 2025 Basic Deed Training. The program lasted for one week, from Monday (February 10, 2025) to Saturday (February 15, 2025). Participation in this program was mandatory for students in the 2024 cohort of the Master’s Program in Notarial Studies who will be taking the courses TPA I and TPA II. With a total of 108 students, the participants were divided into four different groups. Each group had a different training schedule: Group 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Group 2 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Group 3 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Group 4 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This training session was held in person in Room 3.1.2 of the UGM Faculty of Law.
This training session featured six exceptional guest speakers who are also instructors in the Notarial Studies Master’s Program. They are Iin Sunny Atmadja, S.H., M.H., Deasy Widya Sari, S.H., M.Kn., Honggo Sigit Nurcahyo, S.H., Rio Kustianto Wironegoro, S.H., M.Hum., R. Sumendro, S.H., and Theresia Pusvita Dewi, S.H. The material presented by the speakers in this training covered an overview of private deeds and authentic deeds, legalization, waarmerking, certification, the beginning of a deed, the body of the deed (comparison, premise, and content of the deed), and the conclusion of the deed. All of this material was presented using a theoretical and practical approach, which will certainly help students deepen their knowledge and skills in drafting deeds.
To pass the training, students must attend at least 80% of the sessions and pass the assessment. In other words, students are allowed to miss a maximum of one session. This requirement is intended to ensure that students gain as much knowledge as possible from the training. This “Basics of Deeds” training program reflects the commitment of the administrators and students of the Master’s Program in Notarial Studies at the UGM Faculty of Law to improving the quality of education—which is the fourth point in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—by deepening students’ knowledge of the theory and practice of drafting deeds.
