The Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), and the Doctor Peduli Foundation (doctorSHARE) officially signed a Cooperation Agreement on the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) on Thursday, 16 July 2026. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A. on behalf of the UGM Faculty of Law and Tutuk Utomo Nuradhy representing doctorSHARE.
The partnership covers a wide range of collaborative activities, including internship opportunities for UGM Faculty of Law students, joint research and publications, paralegal capacity-building through training and workshops, legal consultation for communities assisted by doctorSHARE through the Faculty's Legal Laboratory, advocacy for national and regional legal reforms, and other initiatives in education, research, and community engagement. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the synergy between academia and humanitarian organizations in delivering meaningful contributions to society.
This partnership advances SDG 4 (Quality Education) by expanding experiential learning opportunities and academic collaboration, SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by supporting humanitarian and public health initiatives championed by doctorSHARE, SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through legal consultation services, paralegal capacity building, and regulatory advocacy, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering a strategic partnership between a higher education institution and a humanitarian organization to strengthen sustainable education, research, and community service initiatives.
