Thursday (11/04/2024) Faculty of Law UGM welcomed the visitation from Faculty of Law Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS). This visitation was intended in order for benchmarking for the academic staffs. The objective of this event was for transfer knowledge regarding academic fields, student and general affairs, finance, and human resources.
Benchmarking was opened with the opening remarks from Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems, Faculty of Law UGM, Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A. Then continued with remarks from the Vice Dean for Human Resources, Finance, and Logistics, Faculty of Law UNS, Prof. Dr. Yudho Taruno Muryanto S.H., M.HUM. Through this opening remarks, both vice deans expected that this visitation would bring benefit for both faculties.
This event then proceeded with the questions and answer from both universities. In this session, the staffs from Faculty of Law UNS looked enthusiast in asking questions. Similar to the staffs from the Faculty of Law UNS, the staffs from Faculty of Law UGM also answered the questions clearly as well. After the discussion, the event then continued with faculty tour in Faculty of Law UGM that have been adjusted with work units of each educational staff..
This benchmarking activity is not only carried out to fulfill SDG 4 (Quality Education), but also SDG 17 (Partnership to Achieve the Goals).
