The Dean of FH UGM, Dahliana Hasan, S.H., M.Tax., Ph.D., along with the Vice Deans, the Head of Administration, and several Faculty of Law professors, met with the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, on Monday (22/8).
Held at Gedong Wilis in the Kepatihan Complex, Yogyakarta, the meeting served both to introduce the Faculty of Law's new leadership structure for the 2021–2025 period, and to strengthen ties with and seek guidance from Ngarsa Dalem, himself a Faculty of Law alumnus, a member of UGM's Board of Trustees, and the Sultan and Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, regarding the Faculty's future development.
During the meeting, Ngarsa Dalem encouraged FH UGM to continue upholding its integrity and urged the Faculty to seize opportunities in legal development to further strengthen public trust in the state and the law.
“The Faculty of Law is expected to continue developing itself. Right now, we are indeed one of the best. But at the very least, we want to become a center of academic excellence in Indonesia,” said Dahliana Hasan.
The meeting was attended by Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, Adrianto Dwi Nugroho, S.H., Adv.LL.M., LL.D.; Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, Dr. Mailinda Eka Yuniza, S.H., LL.M.; and Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems, Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A. Also present were the Head of Administration, Ir. Urip Sudiyono, along with two FH UGM professors: Prof. Dr. Paripurna, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M., and Prof. Dr. Marsudi Triatmodjo, S.H., LL.M.
