Faculty of Law UGM held a parent meeting in order to welcome the freshman students parents. This meeting was held on Monday (28/07/2024) after the opening of Oionir Gadjah Mad 2024. Dahliana Hasan, S.H., M.Tax., Ph.D. attended this meeting as the Dean of Faculty of Law UGM, along with Adrianto Dwi Nugroho, S.H., Adv.LL.M., LL.D. as Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Mailinda Eka Yuniza, S.H., LL.M. as Vice Dean for Finance, Assets and Human Resources, Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A. as Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems, Dr. Wahyu Yun Santoso, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M. as Head of Undergraduate Study Program, and Dr. Dian Agung Wicaksono, S.H., LL.M. as Secretary of Undergraduate Study Program. This meeting serves to be the bridge between the students with the Faculty of Law UGM.
The meeting was started with the report from Dr. Wahyu Yun Santoso, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M. as the Head of Undergraduate Program. The meeting then proceeded to the opening remarks and the symbolic handover of students from parents to the faculty represented by Raden Ismawan Kurnianto, father of Ariani Nisma Putri. The activity was continued with a speech and acceptance from the Dean of the Faculty of Law.
On her speech, the Dean thanked the parents that have trusted the Faculty of Law UGM as the academic parents for their children. However, the Dean also expected the parents to keep actively monitoring the development of their children so that their children can synergize well both within and outside the Faculty.
This meeting then proceeded with the introduction and the achievements introduction by each Vice Deans and the Study Program Management. During this session, the parents seemed enthusiast in asking several questions regarding the material that will be taught to their children. The meeting then ended with the faculty tour that led by the academic staff. The parents were enthusiastically participated in this tour.
