Thursday (23/1/2025), Faculty of Law UGM took a significant step to improve the international educational partnership with promoting the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) to the Embassy of Vietnam in Jakarta. This initiative was aligned with the SGDs, especially with the goal that focuses on qualified education and the rise of the enrollment to higher education.
In this meeting, UGM was represented by Muhammad Jibril, S.H., M.PrivateLaw, one of the member of the reputable faculty that emphasized on the importance of the educational partnership in building a global understanding and partnership. During the presentation, Jibril highlighted the unique features of IUP that designed to fulfill the international students’ need and provides a comprehensive understanding on the legal system in the global context.
IUP Program promotion was a part of a wider strategy from UGM in positioning themselves as the reputable institution in the Southeast Asia. With attracting the students from Vietnam and other neighboring countries, UGM expected to create a dynamic academic environment that reflects the cultural richness and diversity of this area.
