Fakultas Hukum UGM dan Universitas Pattimura Perkuat Sinergi Demi Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan

Pada Selasa (29/10/2024), Fakultas Hukum Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) menerima kunjungan studi banding dari Fakultas Hukum Universitas Pattimura. Kunjungan ini tidak hanya mempererat kerja sama antar lembaga pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, tetapi juga berkontribusi langsung pada pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya SDGs 4: Pendidikan Berkualitas and SDGs 16: Perdamaian, Keadilan, dan Kelembagaan yang Kuat.

Fakultas Hukum UGM, sebagai salah satu institusi pendidikan hukum terkemuka di Indonesia, telah mendapatkan pengakuan internasional melalui akreditasi yang diberikan oleh lembaga seperti Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) dari Jerman dan Asean University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA). Pada tahun 2023, Fakultas Hukum UGM berhasil melalui proses audit daring oleh FIBAA untuk mengevaluasi indikator kualitas program sarjana dan magister hukum. Pengakuan ini menunjukkan komitmen Fakultas Hukum UGM terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan yang mendukung target SDGs 4.

Dalam kunjungan tersebut, delegasi Universitas Pattimura mengidentifikasi sistem manajemen bisnis dan strategi persiapan akreditasi internasional yang diterapkan oleh Fakultas Hukum UGM. Diskusi interaktif dihadiri oleh Kepala Program Studi Sarjana, Dr. Wahyu Yun Santoso, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M., serta perwakilan dari Unit Jaminan Mutu dan Inovasi Akademik UGM. Fokus pembahasan mencakup inovasi akademik, pengelolaan mutu, dan proses akreditasi yang efektif, yang dapat diadopsi untuk meningkatkan kualitas institusi pendidikan lain.

The competition was conducted online via Zoom Meeting and reached its final round on Sunday (19 April 2026), with the winners announced on Friday (24 April 2026).

Strengthening Substantive Justice: KMHLi UGM Discussion on Justifications and Excuses in the National Criminal Code

The Litigation Law Master’s Family (KMHLi) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, held a public discussion on the conceptualization of justifications (alasan pembenar) and excuses (alasan pemaaf) in the National Criminal Code, titled “Justifications and Excuses: Whose Reasons?” on Thursday (30/4) at the Auditorium of Building B, Faculty of Law UGM. The event brought together academics and legal practitioners to examine Articles 31 to 44 of Law No. 1 of 2023 on the National Criminal Code before approximately 100 participants.

The Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM), has once again achieved a notable accomplishment through its delegation—Salsabila Zita Amalia (2023), Cut Kayla Layyina (2023), and Fayyaza Naira Hafidz (2023)—who secured 2nd place at the Sam Ratulangi Law Writing Competition 2026, organized by the Legal Writing Center, Faculty of Law, Sam Ratulangi University. This national-level Legal Opinion competition carried the main theme “Legal Modernization in Addressing the Challenges of Digital Technology Towards an Inclusive and Adaptive Legal Ecosystem.”
