UGM Faculty Of Law And Pertamina Strengthen Understanding Of Public Finance Law And Commercial Contracts In The 12th Week Of The 2025 Pertamina Mini Master Of Law Program

 The Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), through the Center for Natural Resource Governance Studies (NRGS), together with PT Pertamina (Persero), through Pertamina Corporate University, continued the Pertamina 2025 Mini Master of Law Program by entering its 12th week. The learning sessions were held on Thursday and Friday, October 16–17, 2025, at the Faculty of Law, UGM, Yogyakarta, located in Room B.5.2, 5th Floor, Building B and Room B.5.3, 5th Floor, Building B.

The 12th week of learning is designed to broaden participants' corporate law knowledge through an in-depth study of four core subjects: Public Finance Law, Commercial Contract Dynamics, Institutional Risk Mitigation Strategies in Corporate Law, and Comparative Analysis of Competition Law. The focus of the material is aimed at improving participants' accuracy in responding to increasingly complex business law issues at the national and global levels.

The intensive learning was facilitated by experts from the Faculty of Law, UGM, who have academic competence as well as research and business law practice experience, namely Dr. Arvie Johan, S.H., M.Hum., Dr. Dewi Djalal, S.H., M.H., Prof. Dr. Sulistiowati, S.H., M.Hum., and Dr. Muhammad Fatahillah Akbar, S.H., LL.M.. The activity took place on Thursday from 08.00–17.00 WIB and Friday from 08.00–16.20 WIB.

Starting on Thursday, participants took a Pre-Test 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. as part of formative academic evaluation. This pre-test was designed to map participants' initial level of mastery so that class discussions, case analyses, and legal problem-solving strategies discussed during lectures could be more focused and relevant to the organization's needs

The implementation of the 12th week reaffirmed the strategic commitment of the Faculty of Law UGM and PT Pertamina (Persero) in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal SDG 4 Quality Education through human resource capacity building, SDG 16 Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions through strengthening transparent corporate legal governance, and SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals through productive collaboration between higher education institutions and the national energy industry. With a measurable and practice-based approach, the Pertamina Mini Master of Law Program continues to encourage the formation of an adaptive, visionary, and integrity-driven corporate legal professional ecosystem in facing global business challenges.
