A delegation from the UGM Faculty of Law, comprising Sekar Nur Halimah, Anisa Rahmiarti, and Fathiyyah Anastasya Witri, has secured third place at the Legal Opinion Competition 2024, organized by the Economics Law Student Association (HIMA Hukum Ekonomi) of the Universitas Padjadjaran Faculty of Law. The national competition concluded at the Universitas Padjadjaran Faculty of Law in Jatinangor on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
Competing under the theme "Optimizing Growth through Syndicated Loan: A Strategic Approach in Public Private Partnership," the UGM delegation registered as team LO#27 impressed the judging panel with a sharp and well-reasoned legal opinion document. The competition consisted of two stages: a preliminary round, in which the UGM delegation placed third, and a final round, in which they confirmed their standing by finishing in third place overall.
This achievement is not only a source of pride for the UGM Faculty of Law, but also aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education). Active participation in national-level competitions reflects the faculty's commitment to nurturing students who are competent, innovative, and ready to contribute meaningfully to the legal profession and society.
"This success motivates us the entire UGM Faculty of Law academic community to keep excelling, uphold the reputation of our institution, and contribute to the advancement of legal education in Indonesia," said one of the delegates.
The team expressed gratitude for the collaborative spirit and support they received throughout the competition, and expressed hope that their achievement would inspire fellow students to continue honing their academic and practical skills working toward the inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education envisioned by SDG 4.
