Monday (26/5/2025), the Faculty of Law UGM, through the Legal Aid Consultation Center Work Unit (PKBH) in collaboration with the Yogyakarta High Prosecutor's Office, has successfully carried out “Suluh Praja” Legal Counseling activities at the Mangunan Village Office, Dlingo District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Province. This legal counseling aims to provide insight and legal knowledge to the participants, namely the village officials and the surrounding community, about legal issues that often occur. This time, Suluh Praja raised the theme “Employment and Village Treasury Land” to provide legal insights related to the importance of knowing the basics of employment law and the sundries of the rules in the DIY Governor Regulation No. 24 of 2024 concerning Utilization of Kalurahan Land which regulates the regulation of kalurahan land in DIY.
The event started at 09.30 WIB, which began with singing the Indonesia Raya Song together. The event continued with the presentation of initial material by a team from BPJS Employment, which discussed “Employment Social Security Protection for the Welfare of Workers and Families.” Then, the legal counseling material was continued by a resource lecturer from the Faculty of Law UGM, namely Dr. Rimawati, S.H., M.Hum., who presented the theme “Village Cash Land” to provide the latest insights to the village officials regarding the DIY Governor Regulation No. 24 of 2024. Furthermore, the material presentation was conducted by Dr. Murti Pramuwardhani Dewi, S.H., M.Hum., who was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ari Hernawan, S.H., M.Hum. as Professor of Labor Law at the Faculty of Law UGM, with the theme “Employment” to provide insights related to aspects of labor law, employment agreements, employment issues, and employment social security.
Then, the event continued with a presentation by the Civil and State Administration Assistant, Dr. Putri Ayu Wulandari, S.H., M.H. along with a team from the DIY High Prosecutor's Office to provide material on the duties, main points, and functions of the civil and state administrative fields owned by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia. All speakers from the Yogyakarta Attorney General's Office, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and lecturers from the Faculty of Law UGM actively discussed in the question and answer session with the Pamong Kalurahan. The majority of questions discussed issues related to the management of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan insurance and land management in Kalurahan Mangunan, whose answers focused on the availability of an online payment system and registered land management at BPN.

The presentation of material from all speakers was packaged in an interactive and interesting form, so that a good discussion was carried out. The lecturers also answered questions from the participants clearly and satisfactorily. The implementation of this legal counseling is expected to be able to support the 8th point of the SDGs in terms of realizing decent work and economic growth, the 10th point of the SDGs in terms of reducing inequality by creating and protecting rights in employment, the 11th point of the SDGs in creating sustainable cities and settlements based on good utilization of village treasury land, participating in efforts to strengthen inclusive and peaceful communities according to the 16th point of the SDGs to create peace, justice, and resilient institutions starting from the kalurahan government, and strengthening partnership relationships to achieve better goals according to the 17th point of the SDGs.
