We are proud to announce that Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Faculty of Law has officially become a core Institutional Member of the Asian Corporate Law Forum (ACLF)!
Founded in 2023, ACLF, in partnership with the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), serves as the premier platform for corporate law and governance scholarship in Asia. The Forum now brings together top law faculties from across the continent, creating a collaborative space for cutting-edge research and ideas.
As one of Indonesia’s leading law schools, UGM is committed to advancing corporate law and governance scholarship both within Indonesia and across Asia. With Indonesia's significant role as the fourth most populous country and one of the largest economies globally, UGM is eager to bring Indonesian perspectives into key discussions on corporate governance in the region. This partnership offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of corporate law in Asia and beyond.

Keanggotaan Fakultas Hukum UGM dalam Asian Corporate Law Forum (ACLF) juga selaras dengan beberapa tujuan UGM’s membership in the Asian Corporate Law Forum (ACLF) aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. By joining ACLF, UGM actively contributes to strengthening transparent, fair, and sustainable corporate governance at a regional level, supporting the development of stronger and more integrity-driven legal institutions. Additionally, this collaboration with leading law schools across Asia promotes knowledge exchange and research partnerships that can accelerate progress toward sustainable development, particularly in shaping fair and inclusive legal and economic policies.
