Diponegoro Law Fair (DLF) is an annual national event organized by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro, in collaboration with the Constitutional Court. The 2017 edition was recognized as one of Indonesia’s largest law fairs, involving 31 law faculties from universities across the country. Held from 27–29 October 2017, DLF 2017 featured several competitions, including contract drafting, national debate, and scientific writing. This year’s event carried the theme “Revitalizing Pancasila Values in the Life of the Nation and State,” reflecting its commitment to developing future leaders grounded in Pancasila values. In the Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI), UGM teams secured first, second, and third place.
First place was won by the Anthony Eden Team, led by Muhammad Jibril, with Arvel Mulia Pratama and Jinnan Raidangi as members, under the supervision of Rafael Edi Bosko, S.H., M.I.L. The team’s paper was entitled “Revitalizing the Value of Social Justice in Land Acquisition for Public Interest in Indonesia through the Polymerized Compensation System.”
Second place was awarded to the Denis Healey Team, comprising Septilia Mahardika and Rr. Puspita Narastiti Aprilina Hajj, under the supervision of Sartika Intaning Pradhani, S.H., M.H. Their paper was entitled “An Integrated Compensation Concept Based on Mutual Consent for Land Acquisition in the Public Interest on Customary Land.”
Third place was won by the Petra Kelly Team, led by Glinggang Hima Pradana, with Wahida Sophie Hidayanti and Widhia Kusuma as members, under the supervision of Muhammad Fatahillah Akbar, S.H., LL.M. The team presented a paper entitled “Reconceptualizing the Role of the Monitoring Team for Religious and Belief-Based Organizations through Intergovernmental Institutional Partnerships as Recognition of the Value of Religious Freedom and Tolerance.”
