The administrators of the UGM Faculty of Law's Master of Notary Program, Dr. Destri Budi Nugraheni, S.H., M.S.I., and Anggita Mustika Dewi, S.H., M.Kn., accompanied by academic staff Dwi Wuryanti, A.Md., and Agus Sugiyanto, visited the Yogyakarta City Land Office on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
The visit was conducted to initiate collaboration between the UGM Faculty of Law and the Yogyakarta City Land Office in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which includes Education, Research, and Community Service. This collaboration is crucial considering that one of the profiles of graduates of the UGM Faculty of Law's Master of Notary Program is to become Land Deed Officials (PPAT), whose duties are closely related to the Land Office.
Furthermore, in recent years, students have regularly conducted field visits to the Yogyakarta City Land Office as a form of enrichment for the Land Law Practice and Electronic Transactions in the Notary Sector course. This is done to broaden students' insight and understanding of the services and applications applicable at the Yogyakarta City Land Office, particularly those related to the authority of Land Deed Officials (PPAT).
The Head of the Yogyakarta City Land Office, Anna Prihaniawati, A.Ptnh., M.Hum., welcomed the initiative of this collaboration. Anna stated that she would immediately review the draft Cooperation Agreement. This collaboration between the Faculty of Law of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) and the Yogyakarta City Land Office embodies Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 17, namely partnerships to achieve goals. It is hoped that through this collaboration, the Faculty of Law of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) will continue to synergize with the Yogyakarta City Land Office in the development of science and technology.
