The Master’s Program in Notarial Studies at the UGM Faculty of Law Initiates a Collaboration with the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Notaries Association (INI)

On Saturday (September 13, 2025), the Master’s Program in Notarial Studies at the UGM Faculty of Law initiated a collaboration with the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Notaries Association (INI). The event took place at 9:00 a.m. WIB and was attended by 11 participants, including representatives from the administration of the Master’s Program in Notarial Studies at the UGM Faculty of Law and the INI Central Executive Board.

This meeting to initiate cooperation was held because the previous Cooperation Agreement between the Master’s Program in Notarial Studies at the UGM Faculty of Law and the INI Central Executive Board had expired. Therefore, a meeting was needed to discuss the future cooperation to be established between the parties. Through a discussion led by Dr. Destri Budi Nugraheni, S.H., M.S.I., Chair of the Master’s Program in Notarial Law at the UGM Faculty of Law, and Dr. Fully Handayani Ridwan, S.H., M.Kn., Chair of the Internship Division of the INI Central Executive Board, the event proceeded smoothly, and all participants effectively shared their ideas.

It is hoped that all points arising from this initial collaboration meeting will be followed up on and implemented to the fullest extent possible. With strong synergy between the Master’s Program in Notarial Studies at the UGM Faculty of Law and the INI Central Executive Board, the goals of this collaboration will certainly be achieved. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). First, it supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by fostering academic collaboration that strengthens learning, internships, and research in the field of notarial studies. Second, it aligns with SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by strengthening the legal profession through integrity and a foundation of legal certainty. Third, this initiative reflects SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by deepening the synergy between higher education institutions and the notary professional organization in building an inclusive and sustainable legal system.
