FH UGM and the National Executive Board of the Indonesian Advocates Association-Voice of Indonesian Advocates (DPN PERADI-SAI) signed a cooperation agreement on Wednesday, September 7, covering the implementation of the Special Education Program for the Legal Profession (PKPA). The signing was attended by leadership from both institutions. FH UGM was represented by Dean Dahliana Hasan, S.H., M.Tax., Ph.D.; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, Adrianto Dwi Nugroho, S.H., Adv.LL.M., LL.D.; and Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems, Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M., M.A. DPN PERADI-SAI was represented by its General Chairman, Dr. Junivert Girsang, S.H., LL.M.; the Chair of its PKPA Committee, Dr. N. Pininta Ambuwaru, S.H., M.M., M.H., LL.M.; and Suwandy Hamid, S.H., LL.M.
The signing took place at FH UGM's Master of Laws Program, Jakarta Campus. This cooperation agreement supports one form of FH UGM's teaching and community service activities aimed at law graduates — specifically, the Special Education Program for the Legal Profession (PKPA). The hope is that after completing PKPA, law graduates will have deeper competence for the advocate professional exam and, further ahead, for practicing in court.
