FH UGM Participates in the 5th Asian Mediation Association Conference 2018
On 24–25 October 2018, the Pusat Mediasi Nasional (PMN) hosted the 5th Asian Mediation Association Conference 2018 at Le Meridien Hotel, Jakarta. The Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, served as one of the conference partners. This year’s conference carried the theme “Can Mediation Survive in a World of Triumpian Negotiators? Thought Provoking – New Thinking.” Two FH UGM lecturers, Herliana, Ph.D. and Laras Susanti, participated in the conference as speakers and participants. In addition, ten students from the Master of Business Law program were involved as members of the organizing committee. The event contributed not only to the development of mediation as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism, but also to strengthening the networks and capacity of FH UGM lecturers and students in the field of alternative dispute resolution.
