Yudisium and Graduation

1. The Procedure for Yudisium Registration

Yudisium for the Master in Business and State Law Faculty of Law UGM is held every month. Student that potentially will register for yudisium must follow the procedure and complete every document requirement.

Below is the process that need to be followed:

  1. Download and print out the yudisium form on the website law.ugm.ac.id
  2. Fill out the yudisium registration form (click here). The files (in PDF Form) that should be uploaded are:
    • Yudisium Registration Letter (that has been signed);
    • Thesis Examination Revision Approval sheet;
    • Provisional Transcript (student needs to make sure they have taken all the available courses and have been graded);
    • Grade Usage Statement sheet;
    • Original scan or Legalized copy of the S1 Diploma;
    • Scan Asli atau Fotocopy Legalisir, Sertifikat Kemampuan Bahasa Inggris (TOEFL ITP/AcEPT)
    • Original scan or legalized copy of Academic Competence Certificate (TPA/PAPs)
    • Tuition Fee Exemption application.
  3. The Academic and Student Affairs Section checks and validates the Yudisium file to be included in the yudisium list at SIA SIMASTER.
  4. After finishing step 1–3, the student register for the yudisium through SIMASTER, adjusting with the current yudisium period.
  5. The yudisium meeting is held in the last week of the month.

2. The Procedure for Graduation Registration

The postgraduate Graduation period in Gadjah Mada University is held in January, April, July, and October. Students who will take part in the graduation must follow the procedure for the graduation registration and complete the documents no later than the date 20th of every month prior to the month of the graduation period. Should be noted that the procedure for graduation registration is different from the yudisium registration, thereby the student that has submitted the yudisium registration must submit the graduation registration as well.

The procedure as stated below:

  1. Have finished the following yudisium procedure.
  2. Graduation online entry through SIMASTER. If there are upcoming problems or the submitted name hasn’t appeared yet, please contact the academic staff.
  3. The uploaded photos for the online entry should be colored passport photos (formal, male students should wear tie and suits, while the female students adjust), with  white background (further details can be accessed through SIMASTER).
  4. Make sure all the data that has been filled through SIMASTER is correct. Students bear any consequences for the upcoming error on the data submission.

Graduation documents that should be printed and submitted:

  1. Thesis Supervision Card that has been signed by the Thesis Supervisor;
  2. Free proof of literature and proof of submission of thesis and CD from the Law Library Faculty of Law UGM;
  3. Independent Upload Screenshot (unggah.etd.ugm.ac.id)
  4. Declaration Letter of Free from any book loan (Must be stamped by ID10.000,00 stamp & signed by the student and Law Library staff). Download the template through http://bit.ly/PernyataanBebasPinjam
  5. Abstract – 1 Page;
  6. Manuscript of Publication, bound in red color – 1 bundle;
  7. Attachment of Proof of Academic Leave;

The documents should be put inside the thick red envelope and submitted or delivered to the academic counter no later than the date 20th of the month prior to the graduation period.
