LCDC Organizes Career Debriefing for Prospective Graduates as a Form of Commitment to Career Development

On Friday (21/2/2025), the Law Career Development Center (LCDC) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, successfully organized a Career Preparation Session for prospective bachelor's graduates of Period II in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This event is a regular agenda of LCDC, held before each graduation period at UGM, aiming to equip prospective graduates with insights into the job recruitment process, career opportunities and challenges for law graduates, as well as strategies for successfully navigating job selection processes.

On this occasion, the session adopted the theme “From FH UGM to Your Dream Job #11: Career Opportunities for Law Graduates as Legal Auditors”, featuring an experienced speaker, Harvardy Muhammad Iqbal, S.H., M.H., C.L.A. The event commenced with an opening speech by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, Adrianto Dwi Nugroho, S.H., Adv. LL.M., LL.D., who emphasized that this career preparation session is a strategic initiative by LCDC to help FH UGM graduates find career paths that align with their interests and competencies.

Moderated by Taufiq Adiyanto, S.H., LL.M., the event proceeded smoothly. As an introduction, Harvardy explained the role and main responsibilities of a legal auditor, followed by a presentation on various aspects of this profession. He also outlined the workflow of a legal auditor and the qualifications required to pursue this career. 

The enthusiasm of the participants was evident throughout the session, particularly during the Q&A segment that concluded the event. This session also reflects LCDC’s commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4 and Goal 8—Quality Education and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
