KMN UGM Holds Joint Qurban Program with KMMH UGM in Gunung Kidul

Gunung Kidul – The Keluarga Mahasiswa Notariat (KMN) UGM once again held a Qurban program to commemorate Eid al-Adha 1439 H. Unlike the previous year, KMN collaborated with the Keluarga Mahasiswa Magister Hukum (KMMH) UGM for this year’s program. The Qurban activity was held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, in Sidoharjo Village, Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency. For this year’s Qurban program, KMN and KMMH collected donations starting August 8, 2018, raising a total of IDR 13,900,000. The funds were used to purchase six goats for Qurban. Before the Qurban ceremony, KMN, KMMH, and residents of Sidoharjo Village gathered in an open field to perform the Eid prayer. The event was then followed by the slaughtering of the Qurban animals and the distribution of Qurban meat to residents of Sidoharjo Village.

In addition to the joint Qurban program with KMMH, KMN also participated in a Qurban program organized together with the Regional Board of the Indonesian Notary Association (INI) and the Regional Board of the Indonesian Association of Land Deed Officials (IPPAT) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The activity was held on Thursday, August 23, 2018, in Pengkol Village, Nglipar District, Gunung Kidul Regency. The event was attended by KMN management, representatives of the INI Regional Board of Yogyakarta, representatives of the IPPAT Regional Board of Yogyakarta, Gunung Kidul Regent Hj. Badingah, S.Sos., Gunung Kidul Police Chief AKBP Ahmad Fuady, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., Pengkol Village Head Suharto, S.Sos., as well as residents of Pengkol Village.

The activity began with the slaughtering of 14 cows donated by members of INI and IPPAT. The slaughtering was carried out at the Pengkol Village Hall, after which the Qurban meat was distributed to the residents of Pengkol Village. – EF
