The Mimbar Hukum Journal of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM), was officially indexed in Scopus on 27 December 2025. This achievement marks international recognition of the journal’s management quality, scholarly contribution, and role in advancing legal studies at the global level.
Mimbar Hukum is committed to contributing to the development of legal theory and philosophy while expanding the dissemination of knowledge concerning Indonesia’s legal system to broader audiences. The journal provides open-access scholarly articles that can be freely downloaded and accessed by academics, researchers, and legal practitioners alike.
As an academic journal, Mimbar Hukum serves as an important reference for the study of legal principles, legal theory, legal philosophy, and contemporary legal developments. The journal is managed by the Research and Publication Unit of the UGM Faculty of Law and employs a double-blind peer review system to ensure academic integrity and maintain the highest standards of scholarly publication.
Mimbar Hukum is published biannually, with issues released in June and December. Its inclusion in Scopus further strengthens the position of the UGM Faculty of Law as a leading center for legal scholarship with strong international competitiveness.
This achievement also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the advancement of internationally recognized scholarly publications, SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through the development of legal scholarship that supports good governance and justice, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through the expansion of academic networks and global collaboration.
