A delegation from the Faculty of Law at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), under the auspices of the Satria Paramartha (SPARTA) Moot Court Organization, has once again achieved a proud accomplishment on the national stage. At the 10th Prof. Soedarto Cup National Moot Court Competition (NMCC) in 2025, the UGM Law School delegation secured third place, demonstrating the academic capabilities and litigation skills of UGM Law School students in a highly competitive mock trial.

NMCC Piala Prof. Soedarto X organized by the Faculty of Law at Diponegoro University, consisted of two stages. The first stage was the preliminary round, featuring 16 university delegations from across Indonesia, which focused on a case involving criminal acts of corruption. The second stage was the final round, featuring four selected teams that advanced from the preliminary round, with a case involving the criminal act of human trafficking. The entire competition took place in person in Semarang from October 31 to November 3, 2025.

This achievement also reflects the UGM Faculty of Law’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. Through participation in a moot court competition that requires a deep understanding of criminal acts of corruption, human trafficking, and fair judicial governance, the UGM Faculty of Law delegation contributes to strengthening legal culture, the ethics of law enforcement, and the institutional capacity for administering justice in the future. Furthermore, the training, legal research, and academic collaboration involved in this competition support SDG 4: Quality Education, particularly in the development of analytical skills, legal professionalism, and real-world experiential learning.

Last but not least, all members of the UGM Faculty of Law delegation expressed their gratitude and thanks to the various parties who provided support throughout the preparation process and the competition itself.
