The 6th National Student Scientific Writing Competition (KERTAS VI) 2019 is a biennial event organized by the Student Activity Unit of the Scientific Reasoning and Writing Institute at the Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University. This year’s competition carried the theme “Legal Accessibility in the Use of Electronic Media to Realize a Civilized Indonesia.”
This year, a team from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, passed the document screening stage of the Scientific Writing Competition and advanced to the final round, which consisted of presentations held in Makassar from September 20–22, 2019. The final round was attended by teams from several Indonesian universities that had also passed the selection stage, including Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Brawijaya, and Universitas Diponegoro.
The Universitas Gadjah Mada delegation consisted of Dimas Almansyah, Dwi Cahyani Putri, and I Gusti Agung Indiana Rai, with Sabrina Nugrahani Salsabila serving as the official and Prof. Dr. Ari Hernawan, S.H., M. Hum. as their faculty advisor. The team achieved the highest score and won First Place in the Scientific Writing Competition. In addition, the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada delegation also received the Prof. Dr. H. Baharuddin Lopa, S.H. Rotating Trophy.
