The Faculty of Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) welcomed an educational visit from MAN 2 Nganjuk as part of its campus tour program on Tuesday, 14 July 2026. The visit aimed to provide students with an overview of university life, particularly at the Faculty of Law UGM, while introducing the various academic opportunities available at UGM.
The visit commenced with welcoming remarks from Arjunina, S.Pd., M.Pd., Vice Head of Public Relations of MAN 2 Nganjuk. In her remarks, she expressed her appreciation for the warm reception extended by the Faculty of Law UGM and conveyed her hope that the visit would broaden the students' perspectives and motivate them to pursue higher education.
The welcoming session was followed by a presentation delivered by Dr. Arvie Johan, S.H., M.Hum., representing the Faculty of Law UGM. In his presentation, he introduced the profile of the Faculty, its academic excellence, the fields of legal studies offered, and the Faculty’s achievements at both the national and international levels. He also highlighted the career prospects available to FH UGM graduates, who pursue diverse professions as legal practitioners, academics, government officials, and other professional careers.
Moderated by Tri Rahmat Hidayat, A.Md., the session was highly interactive, particularly during the question-and-answer segment. Students actively asked questions about UGM’s admission process, academic system, and student life. Responding to questions regarding academic life at UGM, Dwi Julianto, A.Md., explained the University's learning system, academic services, and various facilities that support students' learning experiences. Meanwhile, questions concerning the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) were addressed by Ike Trines Sari, S.I.P., who elaborated on the opportunities available to IUP students, including studying in an international learning environment, participating in student exchange programs, and developing global competencies.
Through this campus tour, the students gained a more comprehensive understanding of university life at UGM, including admission pathways, the academic system, and opportunities for personal and professional development throughout their studies. This activity also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing inclusive access to higher education information, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and secondary schools to enhance the quality of human resources.
