The Faculty of Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada and the Directorate General for Agrarian Problem Handling, Spatial Use, and Land Management (Ditjen Penanganan Masalah Agraria Pemanfaatan Ruang dan Tanah) at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) held a ceremonial signing of their Cooperation Agreement on Thursday, January 9, 2020. The agreement was signed by Dean Prof. Dr. Sigit Riyanto, S.H., LL.M. and Directorate General Secretary Setyowantini, S.H., M.Kn. The cooperation falls under the umbrella of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency and Universitas Gadjah Mada, originally concluded in May 2015. The partnership with the Faculty of Law was established in the context of drafting the Strategic Plan (Rencana Strategis) of the Directorate General for Agrarian Problem Handling, Spatial Use, and Land Management for 2020-2024.
The signing ceremony was also attended by officials from the Directorate General, including the Head of the Programme and Legal Division (Maria Iriana Puji Lestari), the Head of the General and Personnel Division in his capacity as Commitment Making Officer (Seti Kuncoro, S.Si.T, M.M.), and the Head of the Legal Sub-Division (Endang Dyah Ayu Pitaloka, S.H.). From the UGM Faculty of Law, the event was attended by Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Partnerships, and Alumni (Dr. Mailinda Eka Yuniza, S.H., LL.M.), Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources (Herliana, S.H., M.Comm.Law., Ph.D.), Chair of the Partnership and Development Unit/PDU (Irna Nurhayati, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M., Ph.D.), First Secretary of the PDU (Dr. Ninik Darmini, S.H., M.Hum.), and Second Secretary of the PDU (Taufiq Adiyanto, S.H., LL.M.). Also in attendance was the Implementation Team for the Drafting of the Strategic Plan of the Directorate General for Agrarian Problem Handling, Spatial Use, and Land Management for 2020-2024.
As part of the signing ceremony, a final discussion was also held regarding the self-managed contract (kontrak swakelola) for drafting the Strategic Plan of the Directorate General for Agrarian Problem Handling, Spatial Use, and Land Management for 2020-2024. The signing ceremony concluded with a group photo session.
