The ceremony began with an opening session, followed by the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem, Indonesia Raya, and the Gadjah Mada Hymn. The event continued with the presentation of academic transcripts to the graduates according to their respective graduation distinctions. The transcripts were presented by the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Information Systems, the Head of the Undergraduate Study Program, and the Secretary of the Undergraduate Study Program.
The ceremony also featured remarks from the Graduate Representative, Indyra Radhiyana Nur Ashia Afriandy, and the Parents’ Representative, Prof. Siti Ruhaini Dzuhayatin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Uzbekistan and concurrently accredited to the Kyrgyz Republic. The remarks were followed by an address from the Vice Dean of FH UGM.
As a form of appreciation for their academic achievements, FH UGM presented commemorative gifts to the three outstanding graduates: Indyra Radhiyana Nur Ashia Afriandy, Demas Naufal, and Ulfa Siti Zahra. The ceremony concluded with a prayer led by Dr. Sigid Riyanto, S.H., M.Si., followed by a group photo session.
The Graduation Farewell Ceremony for 153 Undergraduate Graduates of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FH UGM) reflects FH UGM’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 – Quality Education, which reflects the successful provision of quality higher education and the achievement of academic competencies by the graduates, and SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, as law graduates are expected to contribute to promoting access to justice, upholding the rule of law, and strengthening institutions.
