Friday, (24/1/2025), UGM Faculty of Law took a significant step in promoting the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) by visiting the Mozambique Embassy in Jakarta. This initiative was one of the commitments from UGM to improve global education and to increase the number of International students, aligned with the SDGs on Qualified Education.
The delegation from UGM was led by Diantika Rindam Floranti, S.H., LL.M., one of the distinguished lecturers in the Faculty of Law. This visitation was aimed to introduce the IUP program to the Mozambique government and the prominent students, highlighting the benefit of learning law in the international context. This program was programed to prepare the students with skills and knowledge that would be needed to improve in this global world.
UGM IUP Program offered an unique curriculum that combines the local law principles with the international law, preparing students to pursue their career in several fields, including diplomacy, international relations, and global business. This approach is not only to improve the educational experience but also pushes the cultural exchange between students from various backgrounds.
As the conclusion, the IUP Program promotion to the Mozambique Embassy marked the important moment for UGM in their effort to expand a wider connection and contributing to the global education. With the focus on the registration and qualified education, UGM is not only improving their reputation, but also playing an important role in shaping the legal education’s future.
