Faculty of Law Confers Degrees on 74 Undergraduate Graduates

A total of 68 out of 74 graduates from the Undergraduate Program at the UGM Faculty of Law took part in the Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony, Period II, Academic Year 2022/2023 on Wednesday, February 22. The ceremony was held at the Auditorium of Building B, UGM Faculty of Law.

The ceremony was opened by Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dahliana Hasan, S.H., M.Tax., Ph.D. This was followed by the presentation of academic transcripts to graduates with distinction honors, conducted by Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Partnerships, Adrianto Dwi Nugroho, S.H., Adv.LL.M., LL.D., and then by the presentation of transcripts by Undergraduate Program Head, Dr. Wahyu Yun Santoso, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M.

In this period, the Faculty of Law conferred degrees with distinction honors on 31 graduates. The top graduate of this period was Felia Primanda Aisyah, who achieved a GPA of 3.92 and graduated with distinction (cumlaude). Remarks on behalf of the graduating cohort were delivered by Julius Alberto Liem.

In his address, Julius expressed pride in having successfully graduated from the UGM Faculty of Law. He extended his congratulations and shared his hopes for the graduates of this period. "I'm optimistic that the graduates here will become the spearhead of change in Indonesia. There are many intelligent people in this country, but few intelligent people of integrity. Still, I believe everyone here is both intelligent and has integrity." This was Julius's remark.

Remarks continued from a representative of the graduates' parents, Ir. Chairul Hamdani Nawawi, M.B.A., who expressed deep gratitude to the entire academic community and faculty of the UGM Faculty of Law for the knowledge, guidance, and facilities provided -- enabling students to complete their studies smoothly.

The ceremony continued with remarks from Dean of the UGM Faculty of Law, Dahliana Hasan, S.H., M.Tax., Ph.D. Dahliana shared that releasing the graduates into the world was a source of immense pride. "We are immensely proud, because your journey here was certainly not without its struggles -- you got here through hard work and smart work. Through that hard work and smart work, you have finally arrived at this point: graduation. And that fills us, as lecturers at the UGM Faculty of Law, with great pride." This was Dahliana's closing remark.

Congratulations to all the graduates of the UGM Faculty of Law Postgraduate Program, Period II. May the knowledge you have gained be of service to others, and to the nation and the country!
