On Friday (January 17, 2025), the Master of Notary Program, Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), conducted a collaboration evaluation with the Yogyakarta Regional Board of the Indonesian Notaries Association (INI) and the Association of Land Deed Officials (IPPAT). Eleven participants attended, consisting of representatives from the Master of Notary Program, Faculty of Law, Yogyakarta Regional Board of the Indonesian Notaries Association (INI), and the Association of Land Deed Officials (IPPAT).

This collaboration evaluation was held to follow up on one of the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) findings of the Master of Notary Program, Faculty of Law, UGM, in October 2024. The findings indicated that the Master of Notary Program did not have a collaboration evaluation document. The discussion, led by Dr. Destri Budi Nugraheni, S.H., M.S.I. as Head of the Master of Notary Public Affairs Program at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), the activity yielded several evaluation points. These points include:

  • To strengthen cooperation, the Study Program and the Yogyakarta Regional Office of the INI IPPAT will collaborate to hold a massive open online course (MOOC) on Notary Office Management;
  • The Study Program and the Yogyakarta Regional Office of the INI IPPAT will collaborate to develop a textbook for the course "Notary and PPAT Regulations and Code of Ethics" in 2025; and
  • Regarding the internship curriculum, the Yogyakarta Regional Office of the INI IPPAT reiterated that internships should be used to broaden the knowledge and experience of prospective notaries, thus enhancing their professional maturity. Therefore, the internship process must be given due attention.

This entire evaluation is expected to strengthen cooperation between the Master of Notary Public Affairs Program at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and the Yogyakarta Regional Office of INI IPPAT. Furthermore, with the various evaluation points obtained, it is hoped that the quality of education provided by the Master of Notary Public Affairs Program at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) will continue to improve and produce outstanding graduates.
