The Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), is a faculty that prioritizes the health and well-being of its academic community, as reflected in the third point of the Sustainble Development Goals (SDGs). It is therefore unsurprising that the Faculty of Law included sports activities and medical check up in the series of events for its 78th Dies Natalis. Both activities were held on Saturday (February 3, 2024) and were attended by the entire academic community of the Faculty of Law and their families.
The first activity, the Justicia Fun Run, was a 5-kilometer casual run held within the Universitas Gadjah Mada campus. The purpose of this activity was to improve mental and physical health, as well as to strengthen the bonds among the academic community of the Faculty of Law, UGM, and their families. The second activity, Justicia Health Sharing, was a medical check up program conducted in collaboration with the Gadjah Mada Medical Centre (GMC)
The series of events commenced with the opening of the Justicia Fun Run by Dahliana Hasan, S.H., M.Tax., Ph.D., as the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada, followed by the Fun Race. After the Fun Race, the program continued with a Zumba session led by a certified Zumba instructor. There was also an entertainment stage featuring a Top 40 Band performance, along with the distribution of door prizes and the announcement of lucky draw winners. During the intervals, participants of the Justicia Fun Run were invited to undergo health check-ups at Building A of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
